The former Governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Sule lamido said it was the impunity within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that was responsible for its failure during the 2015 general elections.
Lamido emphasized that there was no good conduct in electing the party’s candidates during the primaries across all levels to represent the people. “The impunity was done across all levels in the country that make the supporters to take different decision”.
The Governor who made this known over the weekend in Bamaina his home town told reporters that all claims always being made by the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) about the 16 years of PDP’s
administration is false and a total failure.

Lamido stressed that “the APC always said PDP did not leave anything in the coffers or any development. They said PDP are thieves. But today 90 percent of APC’s profiles are made up of PDP’s thieves who left the party and joint APC”.
Lamido therefore added that “once you join the ruling APC, no matter what you have committed in the past, you will be forgiven. You become saint. Most of those defecting to APC today have cases with the
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)”.
Lamido also pointed out that Nigeria is too large and enemous for the APC administration. “If you look at how things are going on now, you know that APC cannot rule this country successfully. Because, they have failed already”.
“Even from the beginning, APC used religion in the north to win election, they used politics in the north central, South-south and south east to win election”, he concluded.
