Bank pledges support to Edo council

 

The Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Council in Edo State, Hon. Okoro Ekogiawe Sylvester has appealed to the management of United Bank for Africa to bring their cash office to Abudu, the administrative headquarters of the council.
Okoro stated that the absence of commercial Bank cash offices and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) would hinder the easy of business transactions.
The council boss stated this Wednesday while flagging off of the statewide immunization program.
While pleading for a better business transaction between the council and the Bank, Hon. Okoro Ekogiawe Sylvester said he looks forward for the official opening and installation of the ATM soonest in Abudu.
Responding, the Relationship Officer of UBA, Textile Mill Road, Benin, Eguae Ehigiator pledged that the bank will immediately open a cash office and install ATM at the council Secretariat.
He congratulated the chairman for emerging victorious in last Saturday’s poll in Edo state, adding that the Bank will play its part in advancing the socio-economic life in Orhionmwon local government.
