Herdsmen’s dilemma

The bad narrative and prejudice against Fulani herdsmen by other people tend to be the immediate remote causes of the Fulani and other tribes clashes. Herdsmen have been molested and butchered by the other tribes. Their only means of livelihood are killed and burned alive, to which the media and other government agencies have kept mute.
No one says anything when these people are been maltreated but whenever there is a reprisal attack the whole issue will be politicised and given so much consideration instead of bringing the parties involved to a round table.
We should always call a spade a spade. We should imbibe the spirit of togetherness and promote love and unity amongst ourselves. But in a situation where some are regarded as first class citizens and others are treated as second hand citizens is unfair.
