Jesus shows off dodgy dance at Brooklyn Nets game

The track – Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s All The Way Up – brought the Manchester City man to his feet, waving his hands around wildly as team-mate Ilkay Gundogan sat beside him. Gundogan, also in NYC during injury rehab, looked somewhat uncertain about his colleague’s dancing, clapping timidly beneath the flailing arms of Jesus – who had acquired a Nets’ jersey with his No 33 embroidered on the front. The pair have been Stateside for several days as they continue their respective recoveries. While Jesus intends to return before the end of the season from the injury he sustained at Bournemouth in February, Gundogan has already been ruled out of the current campaign. Gundogan applauds Jesus’s efforts, which came during the Nets’ clash with Detroit Pistons.

Jesus went for a ride in a horsedrawn carriage through the streets of the Big Apple Still, the two players have not allowed their fitness problems to keep them from enjoying their time in New York. As well as cheering the Nets on to their 98-96 victory, Jesus and Gundogan have also visited New York City FC – part of the City Group which also owns their parent club – where they caught up with Italy legend Andrea Pirlo.
