Plateau Muslim pilgrims’ boss harps on service delivery

Jos Executive Secretary, Plateau state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Barr Auwal Abdullahi, has tasked staff of the board to work towards revamping the agency in order to achieve it set goals and objectives.
Abdullahi gave the task while taking over the mantle of leadership, saying: “My aim is to revamp the board to become one of the best in the country, where the welfare of the pilgrims will be taken care of”.
He assured the staff and members of the board that he would maintain neutrality in the discharge of his onerous responsibilities and urged the staff to avoid duplication of work.
The ES also called for team work and commitment to delivery of services to the people as the only way to make the state governor, Simon Lalong happy and fulfilled.
He advised them to shun rumour mongering, idleness and nepotism in the discharge of their individual and collective responsibilities, saying they should assist him make the difference at the board.
