Reps aspirant lauds Masari on civil service reform

A House of Representatives aspirant from Katsina State, Alhaji Armaya’u Abdulkadir, has lauded the state governor, Aminu Bello Masari, for reforming the state civil service.
Alhaji Armaya’u, a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC), made the observation yesterday in Kaduna stressing that the Governor’s passion for reform has affected workers positively.
Accordingly, he said this has enhanced productivity in the civil service, adding that Masari’s prompt payment of workers’ salaries, gratuity and pension to retired workers is one of the cardinal agenda of the party.
Alhaji Abdulkadir, who is the Managing Director/ CEO of AY and Sons Nigeria Ltd, said he was impressed by the performance of the ex-House of Representatives Speaker, noting that he feels motivated to show interest in the race to serve his people as a federal lawmaker come 2019.
He said the rehabilitation of all general hospitals in the state is a pointer to the fact that the APC administration has good intention of providing standard health care facilities to its people.
“The rehabilitation of hospitals has brought good health services to the doorsteps of the people of Katsina state. Health is wealth; a healthy state is a wealthy state.
“If given the opportunity of becoming a federal lawmaker from Dutsinma federal constituency, I will sponsor bills that will bring more development to the state and to Nigeria,” he further stated.
He called on all aspirants for the forthcoming general election to play according to the laid down law to pave way for harmonious elections.
He called on the youth to shun moneybag politicians but embrace those that have youth development programmes at heart, adding that youth are the ingredients required for a growing society.
The aspirant urged the people of Katsina state to support the programmes and policies of Governor Masari for more dividends of democracy and peace in the state.
