Taekwondo champion turns comedian as NTF congress holds next week

National Lightweight Champion, Olushola Segun has momentarily switched his taekwondo black belt for comedy after he debuted his first YouTube Comedy skit.

The fiery combatant, who is known for his tactical craftiness in the ring, and who also represented Nigeria at the last 2015 All African Games and won a bronze for Nigeria at the 2014 Commonwealth Taekwondo Championships showed his funny side when he teamed up with an unnamed accomplice to publish a self-made home video that has got viewers cracking up.
Olushola is far from down with Taekwondo as his recent exploits at the 2018 National Trials Open Championships, where he won a Silver for Team NSCDC, showed that the Eko 2012 Gold Medalist still has a fighting bone.

Taekwondo enthusiasts will surely applaud the unveiling of his new talents, and will be hoping for possibly a cameo performance at the end-of-year Nigeria Taekwondo Federation (NTF) Award Nights, where taekwondo practitioners would be encouraged to come showcase their various non-sporting talents.
In the meantime, plans have reached advanced stage in the forthcoming Annual General congress of the federation.

Already, official letters have been sent out to virtually all Stakeholders expected at the gathering, information from NTF Secretariat indicates.
The meeting is holding, few weeks after first ever Female NTF President, Elizabeth Margret Binga trail-blazed as best Referee at an international Taekwondo championship, dubbed ‘Egypt Open’.
