The leadership of the United Progressive Party (UPP) has congratulated the Deputy Senate President, Chief Ike Ekweremadu on his well-deserved appointment as a Professor and Senior Mentoring Scholar of E-Governance and Strategic Government Studies, by the Southern University, Baton Rough, Louisiana, United States of America.
Conveying the congratulatory message on behalf of members of the party, national Chairman of the party, Chief Chekwas Okorie, said it was gladdening that Ekweremadu was not acknowledged but accorded due recognition.
“The appointment is an eloquent testimony of his hard work, diligence, perseverance, tenacity and sagacity of purpose in discharging his academic, national and international assignments.
It is indeed, a national honour which Nigerians are proud of.
“It is a welcome development and another feather in his brilliant academic career.
