Don’t align with agents of disunity’- APC Chieftain

One-time House of Representatives aspirants and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Danladi Etsu Zhin, has urged Nigerians not to align themselves with agents of disunity, who he alleged are mostly from the opposition political parties.

The chieftain, who had desired to represent FCT South constituency, said some unpatriotic elements through utterances and actions were hell bent on creating division among the people and in particular residents of the FCT.

Zhin, who stated this in Kuje recently, appealed to voters to put the interest of the nation ahead of pecuniary interests as they participate in the forthcoming general elections.

According to him, without a united people dwelling in a peaceful environment, no society or country can develop its infrastructural and in other areas.

He, therefore, enjoined all Nigerians to continue to work hard and to pray for the general progress of the country. “We want all Nigerians to continue to pray for our country and work hard to make this country one of the greatest counties not only in Africa, but in the world.

He said residents of the FCT were hard working people who are also dedicated and committed to the progress of the country, stating that any act capable of disrupting their daily activities would be inimical to their welfare.

“Our people are dedicated, resilient and patriotic, who believe in the unity of the country. So, we will do everything possible to avoid aligning with ourselves with destructive elements. In fact, we will reject any act from the opposition political parties to lure our people into violence and other activities that are divisive”.

He assured Nigerians that the APC would deliver on its electoral promise, even as he dismissed insinuation that the present APC federal administration has nothing to offer to Nigerians, saying the Muhammadu Buhari administration has done well and deserves second term.
