2020: Oredo APC drums support for Obaseki’s re-election in Edo

The leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oredo local government of Edo State has urged governor Godwin Obaseki  to run for second term in 2020.

The party also adopted the governor as its sole candidate at the poll over what it referred to as ‘reward for hardwork’.
The resolution was contained in a communique issued after a meeting of the local government executive, ward chairmen, councilors and leaders from the 12 wards.

The communique endorsed by Hon. Goodwill Alabi, Chairman (Oredo LGA APC), Magdalene Isekhuere (Secretary) and 40 others, expressed confidence in Adams Oshiomhole, the National chairman of the party.

According to the communique, “at the moment, Edo State stands out in all development spheres, heads shoulders above states that are far more privileged in Internal Generated Revenue and federal government allocation.

“As the saying goes, the reward for hardwork is more work. We therefore urge governor Obaseki to heed our call of governing the State for another four years”.
