EPL: Title, top 4 races resume

Manchester city will look to go top of the table with a win when they travel to take on relegation threatened Fulham at Craven Cottage. The Citizens are two points behind Liverpool with a game in hand, and will go top for at least a few hours with a win. Pep Guardiola’s men are in fine goalscoring form and against a Fulham side that has leaked goals all season, City are expected to cruise to victory. Fulham on the other hand put in a battling display but it wasn’t enough as they lost 2-1 to Liverpool. They are a staggering 13 points away from safety and with seven games left to play, it’s difficult to see them claw their way out of this.

Manchester United will have their eyes on the top four when Watford visit Old Trafford. It will be their first game since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer was confirmed as permanent manager this week and he will look to continue his impressive start. His last game though didn’t go quite according to plan as the Red Devils were dumped out of the FA Cup by the ever impressive Wolves. With a lot at stake here however nothing short of a win will do. Watford haven’t fared well on the road against the big sides, registering defeats including a 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Liverpool. Can they now contain United with Ole at the wheel?

Wolves will look to continue their brillant run of form when they travel to take on Burnley at Turf Moor.

Leicester City and Bournemouth face off in a tricky clash at the King Power Stadium.

Crystal Palace will look to pick up crucial points against the basement dwellers Huddersfield at Selhurst Park.

Separated by just three points, Southampton will look to take the game to Brighton at the Falmer Stadium.

West Ham and Everton will do battle in their late clash at the Olympic Stadium.

Tomorrow, Liverpool will be desperate to continue their march towards a first ever Premier League title when they host Tottenham at Anfield. Liverpool have won three of their last six games against Spurs and haven’t lost a game at Anfield all season. On paper this is the toughest of their remaining seven games, but Spurs have been in poor form, failing to win any of their last three league games. Mauricio Pochettino’s men have now gone from title contenders to fighting for a top four finish, and they could find themselves level on points with fifth placed Man united should they fail to win.

Chelsea will travel to the Cardiff City Stadium to take on Cardiff City. The Blues are three points off the top four but will have a lot of catch up to do. With a clash against Man United still to come, Maurizio Sarri’s cannot afford to slip up. Cardiff are in a relegation scrap and will be in search of all three points to stay on course.
