Exercise on regular basis, Prof Ibrahim tells RMRDC staff

The Director -General Raw Material and Research Development Council,  Prof Hussaini Doko Ibrahim has urged the staff of the council to participate more in the periodic exercise in order to help them discharge their duties effectively.

The DG who was represented by Dr. Theresa Omorojo disclosed this at the weekend during a routine exercise organised by the council in Abuja.

He further said that the lack of exercise makes one age faster adding that, “many staff are aging faster, therefore there is the need for physical exercise. Some of us are over 50 and we are in need of this exercise to stay healthy and fit so as to help us attain maximum productivity”.

“As long as I don’t take excuse over my health, I  believe the work will not suffer and by doing well, it will be to the good of the council and the country.

“This exercise also helps us  to  socialise with one another because we don’t get to know all our staff in other departments but this initiative has brought us altogether to recognise one another,” he added.

Ibrahim wished all Muslims preparing for the fast a ‘happy Ramadan season’. Adding that the next episode of the exercise would be immediately after the fasting period.
