An Abuja based Non Governmental organization (NGO), “Big Mike Foundation”, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari over his victory at the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief John Erokwu, while speaking to Blueprint Tuesday said President Buhari’s re-election for the second term in office was victory for the whole nation. He said by this victory, the president will now improve on the good works he started since assumption of office in 2015.
He said his organization is committed to enhancing the lives of Nigerians, and to support the initiatives that could improve the basic infrastructure of the nation including access to health, education, agriculture and youth empowerment in line with President Buhari’s next level agenda.
He said his group will strive hard to contribute, train and bring up numerous underprivileged youths and sponsor them abroad to bring more economic development to Nigeria.
Chief John Erokwu stated that President Buhari’s re-election will shape the destiny of the country in the coming years. He urged the president to support his organization to encourage human development in the country.
“I extend my congratulations to Mr President and INEC on the successful conduct of free, transparent and credible presidential and National Assembly elections. I call on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and other opposition parties who contested but lost out to embrace President Buhari’s administration for unity and development of the country.
“It is my conviction that his victory will pave way for stronger and more prosperous Nigeria that will be able to deliver on the people’s mandate,’’ he said.
Erokwu said the presidential and National Assembly election was a fair and honest exercise that permitted the full expression of the sovereign will of the Nigerian people.
