I’ll sponsor inhabitants development commission Bill –Jiba

The newly elected member of the House of Representatives for AMAC and Bwari federal constituency, Micah Jiba has said that he will sponsor bills like the Original Inhabitants Development Commission in the National Assembly that will improve the living standard of people in his constituency.

Jiba spoke to Blueprint Friday in Abuja, to appreciate residents of AMAC and Bwari for electing him to represent them in the National Assembly.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for their sincerity during the election.
“Now that I am elected as a member of the House of Representatives, I am not going there for my interest. Rather, I am going there in the interest of the good people of AMAC and Bwari, to defend their course and to promote bills that will better the living standard of the people,” he said.

“Apart from sponsoring bills, I will also operate an open-door policy and transparent representatives in distributing constituency projects, by ensuring that no part of my constituency would  be left out.

“As I will always say, power belongs to God and He gives whom He chooses to give. I will like to call on my fellow contestants to come and let us work together for the development of AMAC/Bwari federal constituency.

He thanked the good people of AMAC and Bwari, for their unrelenting support during his campaign adding that words are not enough to express his appreciation to them.

He promised never to disappoint them as he would be going to be a member of the House of Representatives that will represent their interests in the National Assembly.

“I will not fail to appreciate my resilient party leaders and members who saw me fit to fly the PDP flags as their candidate for the National Assembly election. This is something I will never forget in my entire life and I will always live to appreciate all of them,” he said.
