The Tijjaniyah Muslim Students Association of Nigeria (TIMSAN), Kaduna Polytechnic chapter wishes to express its profound gratitude to the management of Kaduna Polytechnic for granting it a parcel of land to construct a Masjid.
The achievement was realised after series of requests and negotiations that spanned four decades and consequently simmering down tempers.
Remarkably, we congratulate the courage of the rector in being attentive to reason and to the demand for equity and thus practically setting the pace for the realisation of tolerance, peaceful co-existence and social harmony of the various shades of religious creed and persuasions.
We are confident that the remaining demands as concurred in the negotiations will be implemented conscientiously and without delay to lend credence to scholarship and probity. In Tijjaniyah, the precepts for civility, courteousness, tolerance and sagacity are as important motifs as the frequent mediations that have the objectives for reality, i.e. HAQIQAH.
Religion cannot be relegated to background nor its affairs abandoned to aloofness or lawlessness. In remembrance to a Nigerian Sage, “Conscience is an open wound, only truth can heal it.” Once again, cheers for the bravado and kudos for propriety and decisiveness!!!
