Man begs court to recover N342, 000 from business partner


A 50-year-old man, Danjuma Babajo, has prayed a Shari’a Court ll sitting at
Magajin Gari, Kaduna to help him recover N342,000 from his business
partner, Musa Tata.

The complainant who resides at Rigachikun area of Kaduna, told the court
that he had given Tata N460, 000 to help him start a grain business.

“We agreed to share the profit made from the business into three parts: one
for him and two for me; he gave me my own share of the profit three times
only,” the complainant told the court.

On his part, the defendant, a resident of Hayin Banki said he only knew of
N30, 750, adding that the complainant had been sending someone to collect
goods from him.

The defendant also noted that he had been giving the complainant the agreed
share of the profit.

The Judge, Musa Sa’ad-Goma after listening to both parties asked if the
complainant had witnesses which he answered in the affirmative.

The judge, therefore, ordered the complainant to present his witness in
court and adjourned the case till April 24.
