A 300 level Nigerian student who had staged her own kidnap with her boyfriend to defraud her mother has been arrested.
The student had reportedly demanded N14m ransom from her adopted mother. It was gathered that the girl is a student of Oduduwa University, Ile-Ife in Osun state.
It was gathered that the young lady identified simply as Faith had confessed after her boyfriend was arrested by the police.
According to reports, the boyfriend who had already collected the N14m ransom had gone to native doctor to use Faith allegedly for rituals. The herbalist reported the boy to the police and he was arrested.
In a video that surfaced on social media. Faith’s adoptive mother stormed the school to arrest her. Reports say the woman had taken Faith in as her child after she lost her mother.
Further findings revealed that the young lady had also given her school fees to her boyfriend.
