Political jobbers out to swindle Buhari—PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged Nigerians not to be intimidated by security personnel and political “jobbers” who are allegedly out to swindle President Muhammadu and his party, the All Progressive Congress (PDP).

National chairman, Prince Uche Secondus who stated this while briefing journalists at the party’s headquarters in Abuja Thursday alleged that, the federal government and APC are doing everything possible to intimidate voters and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ahead of Saturday’s elections.

He said: “Both the President and the APC national chairman have been attacking and intimidating the commission because they did not have their way.

“When the President ordered soldiers to shoot voters at sight, the motive was to scare you out of the polling booth to enable them manipulate the result but with God on your side they will fail.

“When the president threatens the commission with probe after election, the intention was to frighten and cow them into playing along in the APC agenda. When they harass, arrest and block bank accounts of the opposition stakeholders what they want is to win at all cost.’’
