U-20 World Cup:Fans to pay N1,900 to N3,800 to watch F/Eagles in Poland


Football fans expected to watch Nigeria’s Flying Eagles in the preliminary phase of the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup finals in Poland, will pay the sum of 20 Poland złoty about (N1,902.17).

The 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup will kick off from May 23 to June 15.

The Flying Eagles qualified for the tournament after finishing fourth at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations in Niger.

They have been drawn in Group D to face Ukraine, the United States of America and Qatar in the group stages of the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup finals in Poland.

According to FIFA’s media advisory, the sale of tickets for FIFA U-20 World Cup Poland began on Thursday (today) and will be first-come, first-served.

It was also revealed that 20 Poland złoty (N1,902.17) will also be paid to watch the Flying Eagles should they qualify for the round of 16.

Should the two time FIFA U-20 World Cup finalists advance to the quarter-finals and semi-finals, fans are expected to pay the sum of 30 Poland złoty (N2,900) per game to watch their darling team. Tickets for the finals, will go for 40 Poland złoty (3,800).

Ticket sales will last until the day of the final match of the tournament, 15 June. During the Visa Presale phase, which concluded on 5 March, 71,110 tickets were sold.
