At least three persons have been confirmed dead in an auto crash at Kafanchan town, in Kaduna state.
The accident, involving a Niger State Transport Authority (NSTA) inter-state bus and a commercial motorcycle, occurred around 8 oclock in the morning on Monday.The driver of the bus, together with the motorcycle rider and his passenger, lost their lives in the ghastly crash.
It was learnt that the NSTA bus was conveying passengers and 10 students of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna), to Minna, the Niger state capital when the accident happened.
“The students were returning to school after staying at home for almost a year, when tragic incident happened. But to God be the glory, they all cheated death and survived the accident” an eyewitness narrated.
The students and other co-passengers in the bus who sustained injuries, he said, were taken to the Kafanchan General Hospital, for treatment.
