10,000 soldiers desert war front – Fadahunsi

The senator representing Osun East, Chief Frederick Fadahunsi, has described as “appalling” the rate at which soldiers ran away from war front in Nigeria.

He said the arms and ammunition being used to kill Nigerians were with soldiers that had left the war front.

Speaking with newsmen at his hometown, Ilase, Obokun local government area of Osun state, Friday, Fadahunsi said no fewer than 10,000 soldiers had left the war front with “nobody looking for them.”

He blamed the Nigeria Customs Service for invading people’s homes and shops to seize cars, wondering why they allowed the cars to enter into the country “in the first place.”
