11-year-old girl abducted for two days

One Sunday Godtime, a barber, is currently facing trial at Mararraba Upper Area Court for abducting an 11-year-old girl for two days.
Godtime, a resident of New Nyanya, was arraigned on a two-count charge of criminal force that contravened Sections 265 and 273 of the Penal Code.
According to the prosecutor, Sgt. Jospeh Ahua, the case was reported at the ‘A’ Division Police Station by the mother of the girl, Mrs. Gift Okoro, on March 14.

The accused abducted the underage girl and hid her in his barbing salon for two days, from March 14th to 15th.
The accused person pleaded not guilty. If convicted he will face 10 years in prison, an option of fine or both.
The presiding judge, Mr. Vincent Gwehemba, admitted the accused to bail for N20, 000, with one surety who must deposit two passport photographs.
The case was adjourned to March 31, for hearing.
