This is often done abroad by celebs and it’s very good to see that our own Flavour is setting the pace here in Nigeria. It’s about the first time we have seen a Nigerian entertainment celeb visit his or her Alma Mater after years of graduation, only God knows if they are ashamed of the schools they attended.
However, very thoughtful of Mister Flavour.
On Monday February 3rd, the Pop high life singer visited his Alma Mater, College of the Immaculate Conception, CIC, Enugu were he passed out from 14 years ago.
The singer, who was dressed in the school’s uniform, went there to inspire and motivate the students while he also gave out full music instrumental set and some scholarship.
Now watch what’s going to happen in coming weeks as you can be sure more celebs will want to follow suit, mostly not for charitable intentions, but publicity.
Whatever happen, it will still be nice to see them remember their humble beginnings.
