While assuring that adequate security had been provided and that this year’s examination would be hitch free, Ojerinde advised candidates for the CBT to go online to print their e-slip and to visit their examination centers, a day before the examination to ensure that their centers had not been moved to another location within the examination town.
Meanwhile, the federal government has approved the commencement of e-learning degree programmes, with the lectures expected to commence on May 19, in four universities including Universities of Maiduguri, Uyo, Sokoto and the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

The JAMB chief executive added that the arrangement was part of government’s efforts at expanding access to tertiary education “to accommodate as many as qualified Nigerians.”
This year’s UTME is expected to hold nationwide in 392 centres and in eight centres across the globe.
