ADP expels Kogi Chair, 2 others for anti-party activities

The national leadership of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) said it has approved the expulsion of its Kogi state chairman Dr. Abdul Denja, and two others for allegedly playing anti party activities.

In a statement signed Friday in Abuja by the party’s director of media, Kayode Jacobs, said the decision was taken at the zonal meeting of North-central leaders held at the party national secretariat in Abuja.
According to the statement, leaders from Kogi state had reported that the state chairman, Dr. Abdul Denja, Dr. Emmanuel Onucheyo and Engr. Lucas Negedu “were conducting themselves in manners that contradict the ADP constitution and that  was able to breed disaffection and  disunity within the Party.”
Meanwhile, the national leader of ADP has directed Kogi state  deputy chairman to take charge in acting capacity and ensure that the arty remains vibrant and cohesive.
“The Party warned that it would not tolerate disloyalty or anti party activity from anyone, no matter how highly placed.”
