A former Speaker of the Borno State House of Assembly, Hon Musa Inuwa Kubo, has lost two of his children, Adamu and Audi, in a fatal road crash.
Two other victims, including one Adamu Dan Hajoya, also died in the crash which occurred at the Kwaya-Kusar- Peta- Shani road, Wednesday evening when their car lost control and somersaulted into a deep pot hole and sands being used for road repairs.
It was gathered that the victims died on the spot while one of them who sustained serious injuries was responding to treatment.
The corpses were conveyed to Shani town, home town to Hon. Inuwa Kobo, for burial after Islamic rites.
It was gathered that the victims were heading to Shani local government area from Maiduguri, preparatory to the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship campaign slated for launch Thursday by the deputy governor of the state, Umar Kadafur, for the Southern Borno senatorial district.
