2 Kwara pilgrims return missing $1400 to owners


Two Kwara state pilgrims have displayed rare honesty by returning missing monies they found in Mina to their owners.
One of the pilgrims, Abubakar Haruna Kanike, found the sum of $600, 700 cefa and N60,000 in a bag belonging to another pilgrim.


The money has been handed over to the owner Mallam Sani Umar.
The Executive Secretary of Kwara State pilgrims board, Alhaji Tunde Jimoh,  Wednesday night, thanked Kanike “for demonstrating high sense of honesty by returning the money”.


He prayed Allah to accept his Hajj and reward him with all good things in life.
ln another development, a pilgrim from the state, Abdulsalam Abubakar, has also returned the sum of $800 belonging to Haruna Babaji, a pilgrim from Borno state to the Executive Secretary.


Jimoh was happy and thanked the two pilgrims for making the state proud while in Holy land and advised other pilgrims to learn from them and be good ambassadors to the state and Nigeria in general during their stay in Saudi Arabia.
