Governor Sa’idu Usman Dakingari of Kebbi state has cautioned the people against breaching the peace before, during and after the forthcoming general elections as well to desist from any act capable of undermining the unity and tranquillity being enjoyed in the state.

A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Muazu Dakingari, said the warning became necessary considering the peaceful political atmosphere presently enjoyed in the state.
It added that Governor Dakingari,

who was addressing PDP supporters in Fakai local government area in continuation of his state-wide campaign tour, attributed the prevailing peaceful co-existence in the state to the collective efforts of the government, traditional rulers, religious and community leaders.

He further directed the council chairman Fakai local government, Umaru Marafa, to submit a proposal for the construction of new palaces for four district heads and award of contracts for the construction of health care centres and additional schools in the area.

The governor, however, disclosed that his administration had so far constructed 44 new palaces for the district heads throughout the four emirates in the state in addition to purchasing 62 brand new Toyota Corolla cars for their official duties.
