2015: Group tasks Nigerians on credible choices

President of Guardians of the Nation International, Mr. Linus Okorie, has appealed to Nigerians to make the country a better place for all by voting for credible politicians who are willing to serve the nation.

Okorie said it was high time quality persons led the country, urging citizens to be wise during elections as a bad choice had many implications on both the individual and general life of the country.
He stated this in Abuja while addressing the press at the end of Toastmasters International District meeting, stressing that “change can take place in the country when developed and groomed persons take over leadership which he said lies with the electorate to inspire such growth.”

He said: “Anyone who is not willing to serve society should be thrown out in 2015. Every Nigerian has the power for his growth. I call on Nigerians to have key interest in the election so that at the end of the day, it will no longer be business as usual because social media is now powerful and people are changing. So, any leader who is not ready to serve should quit. Nigerians are coming out to ensure that only quality people serve and I want to encourage quality individuals to step up to be part of the electoral process because this country must work.”

Earlier, the district governor of the Toastmasters Club, Mike Omotosho, said the Club started in the United States years ago, and that the concept was brought to the country, recently.
