2019: APC’s failed govt helping our course – Atiku

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, says the All Progressives Congress (APC) led federal government is basking in false confidence that will eventually lead to its doom in the forthcoming general elections in 2019.
Atiku said the APC-led federal government’s hypocrisy, emptiness and deceit were all too glaring for Nigerians to see, boasting that it will be difficult for the electorate to fall victims to its propaganda and falsehood again.
Further, the former Vice President, who defected from the APC last month alleging that he was neither consulted in major government decisions nor involved in the party’s activities, said the failure of the present administration has smoothen the path for the PDP to ride to victory in the 2019 general elections.
Atiku, who was reacting in his tweeter handle to assertions by the founder of the White Holy Sword of Light Church, Abuja, Primate Belown Ezeanyaeche, that he would never rule Nigeria, said the PDP is a credible alternative Nigeria needs to put a stop to misrule and deceit.
Reacting to Primate Ezeanyaeche’s claimed revelation that Atiku would never be Nigeria’s president, he said: “He is entitled to his hallucination and wishful thinking which are coming in the form of false prophecy.
“Let remind him that people like him and several others had said (Muhammadu) Buhari was never going to be president… one of the people who even said he was unelectable, Governor (Ahmed) El Rufai, is among his today’s bootlickers. Many false prophets like TB Joshua said (Donald) Trump was going to lose to (Halary) Clinton, even (Barack) Obama wrote him off, but he won.
“Trump lost in all the three debates and all the pundits and opinion polls wrote him off, but he is today’s US president”, he said noting that feed backing received by his campaign team has been overwhelmingly in support of Atiku’s candidature.
