The Chairman of the Zamfara state chapter of the Advanced Progressives
Democratic Alliance (APDA), Hon. Muhammad Sani Takori, has expressed optimism that the party will win most elective posts in the 2019 general elections in the state.
Takori, who was a former member of the House of Representatives and former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in the state, the poor political games played by the opposition PDP and the ruling APC in the state is clear indications for APDA to win 2019 general elections both in the state and national level.
He decried how the two powerful political parties in the country (PDP and APC) have mismanaged the mandates given to them by the people of the state, whose dreams to have a developed economy through good governance and improvement in health, education, and creation of jobs, among others.
“It is unfortunate that the ruling the APC, after almost three years at the centre and over six years in Zamfara state, have not provided basic needs of the people, including fight against poverty, Security, job creation and good governance”, Takori lamented.
He said the people in the state, by voting APC into power have realized that they had chosen empty vessels which have failed to give them their desired salvation from hardship, hence their shifting attention to the APDA that they believe has come to save the state from imminent socio-economic and political collapse.
“We have confidence that APDA party will take over power by 2019 in the state as the entire citizens of Zamfara state believed that the wrongs done by previous governments would be addressed, including fixing the derailing economy”, he contended.
