A group, South-west Youth Assembly, has called on former Governor of Kano state, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, to run for the office of president in the 2019 general elections.
National Coordinator of the group, Mr. Olanrewaju Tekun, in a statement yesterday in Abuja, said Kwankwaso would serve the country’s interest better, if elected as president.
“The executive council and the entire members of the above named organisation have resolved in the recent general assembly conference held in Abuja to offer their sincere support to His Excellency, Mohammed Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in a build up towards the forthcoming 2019 general elections in Nigeria,” he said.

“Kwankwaso is a man of honour who has scientific approach to issues of governance. He has inimitable drive needed to make a positive difference for a better Nigeria.
“Nigeria is in dire need of a seasoned politician whose aspiration for genuine united Nigeria is beyond mere campaign slogan and electioneering promises; a real believer in the common heritage.
