The All Progressives Congress (APC) Jigawa state chapter has said that it was strongly behind President Mohammadu Buhari re-election bid for 2019 presidential election.
The party in a statement was made through its state chairman, Ado Sani Kiri, debunked claims recently made by Ubale Hashim that the present party executives in the state did not support Buhari in 2015 rather they supported Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Kiri reiterated that he was shocked and disappointed over the damning statement from one of the respected elders of the party in person of Ubale Hashim.
It could be recalled that Pharmacist Hashim in his earlier statement also reiterated to lend his loyalty and support only to the candidature of President Buhari comes 2019.
Hashim has also distanced himself away from the re-election process of Governor Badaru’s second term comes 2019. “Hashimiyya movement will only support President Buhari in 2019, while we will decide on who will be our choice as governor in our state”.
The party chairman explained that the so-called leader of Hashimiyya movement has shown act of impatience and ungratefulness.
“The present government is working hard for him to be given a federal appointment but went ahead to scuttle the effort of the Jigawa APC-led government”.
