2019: Kuje, other councils back Zhin

The people of Kuje, Abaji, Kwali and Gwagwalada area councils in Abuja south federal constituency, F.C.T have pledged their support to Hon.
Danladi Etsu Zhin.
The pledge was made when he visited the All Progressive Congress (APC)party secretariat of the four area councils in his bid to contest for House of Representative seat in the FCT.
The party chieftain, while speaking to Blueprint in Kuje during his tour of the four area councils attributed his mission to the clear vision of his team to be trusted to keep promise.
He said if elected House of Representative member, he will make sure he ease their sufferings.
According to him, his reign will not relent in its efforts to make life better for his constituents.
The aspirant who was also the chairman of Kuje Area Council and federal commissioner, public complain commission stated that grass root government which is the foundation of democracy will not function if local government rights entrenched in the constitution are respected, adding that democracyhas not taken a firm root at local government levels.
He pointed outthat, at the federal government levels, the National Assembly and executive are coming to term with tenets of democracy, stressing thateverything person does wholly belong to almighty God.
The House ofRepresentative hopeful noted that local governments are expected to develop the local economy in their rural communities so that job canbe created and some scale industries can also grow by improvingforeign and strengthening social ties and developing the non-profitsectors.
Zhin maintained that, the function of maintaining law and order and ensuring basic sanitation in the rural areas like; good roads, availability of water, administering local schools, skill training, health, agriculture and empowerment for residents also falls within residuary power and constitutional responsibilities of the gocal government.
He appealed for the support of FCT Abuja south residents to vote for him and APC in general come 2019 general elections
