2019: Lamido group alleges vandalisation of Jos office

The Sule Lamido Support Group, Plateau state chapter yesterday alleged that some All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters vandalised its office. State Secretary of the group, Hon. Sadat Garga, made the allegation while addressing a press conference at the office situated along Muhammadu Buhari way in Jos South local government area of the state.
He lamented that the flex banners mounted outside the campaign office were destroyed and completely removed, Wednesday night, saying it was barbaric and uncivilised.
“The office began operating just on the first of March this year and it is unfortunate that this is happening now even before the electioneering period started. “We are appealing to the ruling APC to focus on governance and not the destruction of the properties of the main opposition PDP. We are not taking what has happened lightly.
We must get to the root of the matter and justice must be done,” he added. Garga, flanked by the group’s publicity secretary, Hon. Muhammad Badu, said; “it has become the tradition of the ruling party in Nigeria, to go about vandalising opposition party offices.”
