2019: Merit Time seeks credible leaders for Nigeria

Merit Time International, an Abuja based media, consultancy and brand company has tasked Nigerians to insist on credible leaders that will take them to the promised land during the 2019 general elections.
The group at its lecture and awards ceremony at the Merit House, Maitama, Abuja with the title; Leadership and Anti Corruption Fight in Nigeria; Which Way Forward, called on the electorate to go for leaders who will serve them and not tyrants who would sap the country and render their destiny fruitless.
National Coordinator of Merit Time and brands, Mr Sunday Okwu Ojor, described as unacceptable the current level of hopelessness arising from killings, kidnappings and cultism across the divide and urged for concerted action for a change of style in the leadership of the nation.
In address of welcome at the event, Mr Okwu emphasised the conscious efforts of all Nigerians to imbibe positive attitude of love, friendliness, empathy and patience in order to bring about the needed change in the country.

“Having worked in the Nigerian Branding and Public Relations Market and Mingle Brands Media Limited for 15 years, these young men conceived the idea of Merit Time International, backed by God and spirited credible mentors whose aim is to partner with credible universities in Nigeria and abroad to have a national Lecture and award at least once in a year to encourage not necessarily millionaires but trustworthy individuals who are touching lives in and around their community,” he said.
The lecture delivered by Peter Eje Ogah of the Department of Sociology, University of Abuja, advised Nigerian leaders to go for service rather than indulge in corrupt tendencies that impoverish the nation.
Highlight of the occasion was the launch of the Diaspora launch of the periodic award and lecture series.
