2019: NDA backs Umeh for Senate

Nigerians for Democratic Action (NDA) , has endorsed the candidature of Chief Dr.
Victor Umeh for Senate in the 2019 general elections.
The National publicity secretary, NdukweKalu, after its annual Congress on Tuesday, 18th September, 2018, in Abuja said Umeh is an embodiment of patriotism, a detribalized compatriot with abundant milk of human kindness which he generously dispensed particularly to the less privileged he gives annual scholarship etc.
According to him, his impressive performance in the Senate since January 2018 he assumed legislative duties after tortuous post-election litigations, shows that he is indeed, a man of the people.
He said Nigerians for Democratic Action overwhelmingly adopt him as the candidate to represent Anambra Central Senatorial District in the Red chamber.
According to him, all members of our esteemed Group and lovers of representative governance in Nigeria should work for his reelection to the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He said a man of courage and vision, Senator Umeh has sponsored and co-sponsored laudable people oriented motions including “The Urgent Need to include the Eastern Rail lines in the Nigerian Railway Development Project”, “Illegal Confinement of Underage Offenders and Infants in the same Prison with Adult Prisoners”, Co-sponsor with Senator Stella Odua (Anambra North, APGA) the “Federal University of Education Aguleri, Anambra State (EST, etc) Bill 2018 (SB, 653)”, etc.
“NDA is impressed by Umeh’s performance in the Senate so far, and believe he will do more if he is reelected to the Upper Chamber.
He has provided the desired synergy needed by the Anambra State Government controlled by APGA to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people of the State.
He said NDA enjoins the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial Zone to vote for continuity and return Umeh to the Senate in 2019.
He is competent and has in many ways enriched the nation’s democratic process.
NDA also calls on eligible Nigerians to obtain their voter cards and ensure they vote for candidates of their choice in all elections.
