2019: Poly students endorse Sule Lamido

The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has endorsed former governor of Jigawa state, Sule Lamido for the 2019 presidential ticket.
National President of NAPS, Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan, said the decision was borne out of Lamido’s patriotism.
He said, after painstaking examination of current socio – political developments in the country, the umbrella body of all polytechnics, monotechics, colleges of technology, colleges of education and allied institutions in Nigeria, considered Lamido fit for president in 2019.
Hassan said after a thorough screening of all aspirants eyeing the position come 2019, Lamido ranks highest among all the potential presidential prospects, judging by his giant strides in all spheres of human endeavours as former governor of Jigawa state, former foreign Affairs minister, his detribalised disposition, national appeal, innovative ideas and open mindedness.
“We will like to use this medium to assure Nigerians of Lamido’s readiness to serve our dear country with passion and dexterity, carrying all Nigerians along for national progress, and NAPS with membership strength of 38.8 million students will help him achieve this,” he said.
