While addressing the party’s national officers, Dara said, “speaking from experience, the security of ticket after the primary election and sincerity of leadership through out the electioneering period are critical success factors which every wise aspirant must consider before choosing a party platform, and only a National Chairman with proven integrity can guarantee these vital requirements.

According to him, Nigeria now needs agile and well updated leader to move it out of it’s present sorry state.

Dara, who was in company of the former North-east zonal chairman of PDP and 2015 Borno South Senatorial candidate of the SDP, Dr Pogu Chibok, also explained that his visit was just to identify and familiarise himself with the National Headquarters of the SDP, adding that he would soon make a public statement on his new political direction and agenda.

Responding on behalf of the national chairman, Dr Abdul commended Dara for seeing the signs early that well meaning Nigerians have lost hope in Nigeria’s ‘twin’ political parties known as PDP and APC, and looking forward to SDP to come to the rescue.
