2019: Umahi warns opposition against violence

The Governor of Ebonyi state Engr. David Umahi yesterday warned opposition parties in the state against activities capable of disintegrating peaceful election processes come February and March .

The Governor made this known while speaking at Isiaka, the Council headquarters of Ivo local government area, during his reelection rally.

He denied the insinuations making round by the All Progressives Congress (APC) that he imported ammunitions into the state forthe general elections.

According to him,” I have never asked anybody to purchase gun to participate in violence or to purchase knife or anything. We have always said that God is our strength so there will be no violence.”

Umahi also vowed to probe all federal government projects attracted and executed by the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Senator Sunny Ogbuorji in the state.

“I am going to probe all the federal government roads that he (referring to Ogbuorji) is currently doing that have already failed.  I will probe all of them and the street light project and I assure you that I will make him vomit every Kobo that he has embezzled in those projects”. He said.
