2019: Yoruba group offer to buy Atiku’s Presidential form

A forum of Yoruba youths on the platform of Youth In Support of Atiku 2019 (YISA) has promised to buy presidential form for the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, in any political party he deem it fit to contest.
The group howlbegged the Waziri Adamawa not to turn down their request, saying God has deposited capacity in him to bring about the development of Nigeria.
In a communiqué signed by Comrade Gbeminiyi Ololade and Bala Gana, National President abd Secretary respectively, after its end of the year meeting in Ibadan, Oyo state capital, the group said Atiku has invested and contributed towards Nigeria’s development more than any other living or dead past leaders of the country.
The statement made available to Blueprint yesterday in Abuja read in part: “A bank account has been opened to enable us raise funds from volunteers to obtain the 2019 presidential form for our mentor, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, regardless of any political party he wishes to contest from.
“The responsibility is based on the fact that we are calling and also begging him to come and serve his father’s land because he has the solution to all Nigeria’s problem and he has also invested and contributed towards Nigeria’s development which is incomparable to any of our past leaders.
“He strongly believes in our country Nigeria, that’s why we are in full support of him for a better Nigeria.”
The group said it used the last meeting to honour some private individuals who have contributed in no small ways to the activities of the organization.
The awardees include, “Alhaji Jubril Adeyemo, awarded the best philanthropist, Professor Akin Ayinde awarded the Life Patron , Surveyor George Akande awarded Life Patron, Mrs Toyin Obadara Life Patron, His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was awarded the great grand Patron which makes him the number one citizen of the forum, that is the highest title in the organization.
“There was a large turnout of crowd beyond our expectation which comprises of youth, elders, males, females and also students who assembled at Adamasigba Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.”
Speaking at the event, the group’s national president, Comrade Gbeminiyi Ololade, congratulated all the award winners and also the students who were given scholarship based on their contribution towards the forum.
Ololade assured that more games, educational competitions, youth enlightenment and empowerment programmes will be included in their 2018 activities.
He also called on any interested group or individual interested in the forum to register be member so as to enable them participate in any of their programmes.
