Exciting times are back again for lovers of the big men game, as the 2021 Total Baskeball Division One league tips off in Lagos, Saturday, June 26 at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere.
Eleven teams in the Savannah Conference and nine teams from the Atlantic Conference are expected to compete for four available slots in the Total sponsored finals.
Preceeding the games would be a pre-match technical meeting slated for 8am, as matches are expected to begin 10am.
Eleven teams in the Savannah conference and nine teams in the Atlantic Conference will be competing for four available slots in the Total sponsored National finals billed for 7th and 12th July, 2021.
Apa Flames (Benue), Kano Pyramid (Kano), Zamfara Shooters (Zamfara), Yobe Desert Warriors (Yobe), AHIP Giants (Kano) and Gombe Jewels (Gombe) will compete in the Savannah Conference.
Other teams in the Savannah Conference include Taraba Hurricanes (Taraba),Golden Touch, Safety Knights, Nile University of Abuja and Ahmadu Bello University Kings from Zaria.
The Atlantic Conference has Nigerian Air Force Rockets, OS Lions from Osun, Comets (Lagos), Police Bombers (Lagos), Brave Heart, Oilers of Lagos, Chuba Ikpeazu of Anambra, Enugu Coal City Basketball,l and Edo Beads from Benin City, who are expected to battle for places in the national finals.
