2023: Accord remains party to beat in Oyo – Adelabu

Governorship candidate of Accord Party (AP) in Oyo, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has hinted that the party is progressing with quality members defecting to it in the state.

The AP governorship candidate dropped this hint at the unveiling of Chief Adegboyega Adegoke as the party’s Director-General Campaign Council and Prof. (Mrs) Abiodun Ayandele as deputy governorship candidate, Thursday in Ibadan.

According to Chief Adelabu, Accord Party remained a major force in Oyo state in the 2023 general elections; hence the need for members of the party in and across the state to work for victory in the forthcoming elections, Chief Adelabu pointed out that no fewer than 10,000 members of proven integrity were carefully selected to be on the campaign council.

Accord Director General Campaign Council, Chief Adegboyega Adegoke in his remarks promised to perform his responsibility with passion for the victory of all the candidates of the party in the state.

He emphasised the need for all members of the party to unite and intensify campaign for all the party’s candidates to emerge victorious in the general elections.

Chief Adegoke stressed, “with unity of purpose and synergised efforts, Accord Party is poised to win the next governorship election and other elective positions in the state.”

A leader of the party, Senate Ayoade Adeseun on his part, emphasised the need for synergy among the candidates and members of the party in the state ahead of the general elections.

Senator Adeseun commended party members in the state for their untiring campaign, saying they needed to intensify efforts for their candidates to emerge victorious in the election.
