The Professionals Forum of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has thrown their weights behind the choice of Senator Kashim Shettima as the vice presidential candidate of the party.
In a statement released Monday in Abuja, by the acting chairman, Board of Trustees for the forum, Nkem Okeke, said the choice is inline with the Forum’s objective of dedication to promoting professionalism, competence, and good governance in politics.
The statement also congratulated presidential candidate Bola Tinubu for choosing a competent and visionary running mate to complement his capacity as our next President in 2023.
“The APC Professionals Forum congratulates Senator Kashim Shettima on his nomination as the Vice Presidential Candidate of our great party. The APC Professionals Forum, dedicated to promoting professionalism, competence, and good governance in politics, welcomes your choice as a statement of good intentions for our dear nation.
“Senator Kashim Shettim is is a patriotic, loyal, experienced, competent and team player with the capacity to add value to the upward trajectory of any progressive government. His experiences as an academic, banker and public servant will be an added advantage in our collective quest as professionals within the APC to advocate for round pegs in round holes and sustainable deliverance of good governance to the Nigerian people.
