2023: APC’s philosophy hinges on revamping economy, infrastructure – Inuwa

Gombe state governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has said the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) political philosophy was based on overhauling the economy, providing vital infrastructure, human capital development, social cohesion, and enhancing security to deal with rising threats.

Against this backdrop, Inuwa said his administration has remained committed to providing incentives for individuals and groups to grow in their chosen endeavors, as well as exploring meaningful avenues that would lead to the state’s social, economic, and infrastructure development.

The governor said this in Kumo, when his campaign train visited the palace of the Emir of Akko on the second day of the APC rally in the local government area, to request the royal father’s support ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Governor Yahaya informed the monarch that the reconstruction of the Kumo General Hospital and the development of road networks throughout the Akko local government area were carried out in accordance with his campaign promises.

He stated that his administration was able to make its presence felt in all 114 wards of the state, particularly, in terms of providing quality healthcare and education.

The governor explained that his government has also built a significant number of kilometers of roads to improve social connections and enhance economic activity in the area and the state as a whole.

In response, His Royal Highness Mohammed Umar Atiku, Emir of Akko, commended Inuwa Yahaya for his people-oriented programmes that made it easy for citizens to engage in economic activities that improved the people’s living conditions.

The royal father praised the projects carried out by Governor Yahaya’s government in Akko local government area as important and life-changing, guaranteeing the governor of his Emirate’s support and solidarity.

The Commissioner of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Hon. Muhammad Magaji Gettado, highlighted some of the projects completed by the Inuwa-led administration in Akko Local Government.

According to him, these included the construction of a brand new General Hospital in Kumo, numerous road networks, and modern classroom blocks, among other.

He promised the governor that he would not need to campaign in Akko, as the LGA is a ‘no-go’ zone for any opposition.

Following the usual respect, the campaign train also toured the Kumo Central, East, West, and North coastlines.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya maintained his cheerful mood in all of the political wards visited, predicting that the APC would win a landslide victory in the 2023 general elections ‘from top to bottom’.

The governor urged the people of Akko East to harness their electoral efforts toward electing all APC candidates at all levels so that the ruling party’s positive policies and programmes with social and economic dimensions on Nigerians are not curtailed.
