Ahead of the 2023 general elections, scores of Arewa Media Influencers have pledged to woo no fewer than ten million voters for the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Addressing a press conference Thursday in Abuja, the group’s national secretary, Shuaibu Abdullahi, said his group would leave no stone unturned in ensuring victory for Tinubu in the 2023 presidential poll.
The group said it relationship with the ruling party has not been rosy All along but after a successful intervention by some persons they have made up their minds to work for Tinubu based on his antecedent of performance as Lagos state governor.
He said: “As of today, we have at least 10 million followers both online and off-line. We all know the important of the media in the North. We have been educating our people to come out and vote for APC. That is why the party became victorious in 2015 and 2019 general elections.”
The group expressed gratitude to Mr. Seyi Tinubu for calming frayed nerves among his members who were under the impression that they had been sidelined from the activities of the APC Presidential Campaign Council.
He added: “Our grievances had been settled by Seyi Tinubu after he showed us the campaign blueprint. We are fully ready to continue the good work we have been doing for the APC since 2025.
“We must also express our appreciation to Seyi Tinubu, Governors Mai Mala Buni, Abubakar Badaru, Abubakar Bagudu for their timely intervention. Now the problem is solved. We are ready to carry the Tinubu /Shettima campaign to the next level.”
