2023: Aspirant pledges to open feeder roads

The chairman/chief executive officer of VAHBAL Concepts Nigeria Limited, Abuja, Mr. Victor Hundu Ama, has promised to attract federal presence to his constituency if voted in the 2023 elections.

Ama who aspiring to contest the Konshisha/Vandeikaya Federal House of Representatives seat in 2023, noted that the federal constituency popularly known in Benue as “Jechira” has suffered lack of federal presence, adding that since its creation it has only one federal secondary school, which he said was not enough.

Speaking with newsmen Sunday in Makurdi, Ama stated that his decision to vie for the position was out of his genuine interest to work for the development of his people.

He said he has watched politics in the area and was aware of the problems facing his people.
He stated further that even though he was yet to decide on the political platform on which he intended to realise his ambition, he would soon officially declare his decision after the ongoing revalidation and registration of membership of political parties in the country.

He pledged to use his national and international connection to attract projects that would be of benefit to the constituents and called on all to support him against others he described as ‘self seeking politicians.’

Ama further stated that as someone who has handled some road construction projects across the country, he was in a better position to open feeder roads in Benue state and Jechira constituency in particular if given the position.
He called for support to realise his ambition promising that he will not disappoint them, if elected.
