2023 Budget Proposal: Nigeria’s GDP grew by 3.5 percent – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose by 3.5 percent in the first quarter of 2022.

He said that the government must continue to work for higher growth so that Nigerians will feel the impact of growth.

Presenting the 2023 budget proposal, Buhari stated that his government intends to leave a lasting legacy better that what it met in 2015.
He also noted that while unemployment and under employment has remain high, the government is implementing some measures to ensure that Nigerian youths are employable.
