He also charged members of the campaign organisation to ensure that the presidential campaigns are issue-based.

Akwa Ibom State Governor continued “this campaigns which I am the chairman by the Grace of God will be issue based and focussed.

“We are going into this campaign with what the PDP has done and what it intend to do. One thing is clear PDP will turn around the economy in no distant time when we come back as the ruling party.

“Our campaigns will be based on bottom to top, and not the top to bottom that has brought sorrow and crisis to the people. We intend to turn things around for the good of all Nigerians, he stated.

Also speaking, the Vice-Presidential candidate of PDP, Delta state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa charged party members to take advantage of obvious unpreparedness of other political parties, including All Progressives Congress (APC).

Okowa stated “our strength and size of our followers, as leaders, will be best tested and harnessed in our units and wards. So, I urged every leader and member of the party to return to their homes because that is where the elections will be won.

The vice-presidential candidate urged members of the North West to leverage the ongoing mass defection of people into the PDP from other political parties, especially the APC, to strengthen the ranks of the party in the zone.
