2023: Ex-Kano House Leader Danagundi heads Tinubu’s North-West support group

A former Majority Leader, Kano State House of Assembly and the Managing Director, Kano Road Traffic Management Agency(KAROTA), Alhaji Baffa Babba Danagundi has been appointed as North-West Director Tinibu Support Group (TSG). 

His appointment came the heels of presidential campaign to be started on the September 28th as scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with Danagundi’s experience and clout in politics taken into cognizance.

Speaking to newsmen in his office, the firebrand politician said he considered his assigned responsibility as a formidable challenge.

He assured that he was poised to shoulder it with commitment, vigour and absolute dedication adding that as one who had proven his mettle and industriousness on the floor of the House as a majority leader, he would leave no stone unturned in doing what is best possible.

According to him, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has the much needed potentials to win the forthcoming presidential battle, expressing the optimism that the country was on the road to a new dawn in the democratic journey after the 2023 elections.

He said, “I am not surprised by my appointment as North-west Director of Tinubu Support Group, knowing that such an appointment was based on merit and after a careful scrutiny of my track record as a politician.

“We are going to  prove to the doubting Thomases that  we have the capacity to spearhead the struggle.

“If we have succeeded in our journey to the Presidential Villa, we shall prove to everyone that we are holistically committed to forming a government that would be an all encompassing and result oriented people.”

He called on APC’s card carrying members across the six geo-political zone in the country to rise to the challenge of selling the party to voters, stressing that once such a herculean task was accomplished, nothing would stand as a cog in its wheels to move forward.
